I have a 1973 ford torino 351w and a c4 transmission. It goes into reverse perfectly. when its cold it moves?
In drive when cold it moves after 5 mins it acts like something is locked up. When jacked up it turns the left rear wheel and seems to shift. But under load(tires on the ground) it doesn’t move. The fluid level is ok. Any suggestions or queastions?
Which muscle car is better to buy?
1970 Ford Torino for 00 (Needs minimal bodywork plus paint job)
1971 Pontiac Le Mans for 00 (Needs rear bumper, carpeting and backseats)
1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass for 00 (Needs minimal bodywork on passenger door and a 1/4 panel)
1973 Plymouth Duster for 00 (Need to fix the A/C)
All the vehicles’ engines are originals with about 50,000KM on them.
In my opinion they all look good, just which one can I buy for the cheapest price according to how much work needs to be done to each vehicle.
Which one if I restore it completely will become the "classic car" that is likely to become worth while to have.
1973 Ford gran torino?
I saw what I believe to be a 73 2 door ford Torino fastback. It’s an automatic so I’m pretty sure it’s a 3 speed. Its gonna need alota work, interior is crap and body got some rust and dings in it. Was at a garage which was closed so I couldn’t pop the hood to see what it had. Milage was at 86k but dash was dirty so I can’t be sure. I’m just lookin to get an idea of what I’ll be lookin at pricewise when I stop in there Monday. Thanks.
