OK, I don’t like uploading copyrighted content, but I am uploading this clip from a 1972 episode of “The Price is Right”, taken from Mills Creek’s lovely DVD release of the show. A woman wins a Argus 8mm Camera, and a Chevrolet Vega. Don’t know much about the car, but looks really cool. Not sure why I’m uploading this common footage. I guess I just like cameras and cars!

The Chevrolet Vega was made for several years in the 70s. Was notorious for its aluminum engine block, which had a tendency to get rather warm.
Stay tuned for “Gambit,” next over most of these CBS stations.
always amazes me the shows in addition to soap operas that SCORE Productions had a hand in the music for.
Thanks for sharing.
it’s funny that she’d also won another car earlier in the show, also playing against the same guy!
ANITRA FORD! And Janice with BROWN HAIR!
Labor Day 1972! Gotta love it, because CBS debuted three new game shows on that very exciting day. Starting off with The Joker’s Wild with Jack Barry, followed by The New Price is Right with Bob Barker and rounding off with Gambit with Wink Martindale.
Oh man!!! Lost by 90 bucks!!! I guessed $2,000 for his showcase! haha!!! good times!!
The models are soo…..pretty….fail
All that for only FIVE THOUSAND BUCKS!!!! I’d be a millionaire back in the 70s…lol
Larry is GREASY.
Haha, the TV doubles as a nightstand.
Goddamn those models are gorgeous and hot just look at their legs! What a distraction!
Larry was nervous – he was sweating.
This show was still so new at the time.
During the first week of shows, one of the showcase contestants was afraid of losing what she won, and another thought that there was a third showcase – a la Let’s Make a Deal.
